The RSX model came in Base or Type S.  The Base originally had the Mitsubishi Alternator and Type S a Denso Alternator.  These could even swap out with each other as a complete unit, but the internal parts are quite different..  If you have an original unit, then you can go just from the description.  If you have a replacement alternator please determine if it is a Mitsubishi or Denso type before ordering parts.   Thank You!
